Recycled Cement Gadget Pouch

No need to get into a tangle when you are out and about! This handy gadget pouch has elastic straps to neatly tuck in and store your ear buds, mouse, cables, chargers pens etc when you are on the go. About the Materials 

This product is made from a combination of recycled cement bags that are collected from construction sites around Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The bags are cut into patterns, washed by hand, hung out to dry and then sewn into awesome products. They are combined with 100% cotton remnant textile, waste from the fast fashion garment factories, the largest export industry in Cambodia. Where possible, upcycled hardware (zips etc) are also salvaged from garment factory waste and incorporated into our designs.

About the Artisans

Fair Space is proud to have partnered with Village Works, a Fair Trade Organisation in Cambodia that provides skills training and employment to people with disabilities. Village Works has two production centres, one in the capital Phnom Penh and the other in Baray, all fully adapted to support workers of all abilities. As a Fair Trade Organisation, Village Works is  committed to providing safe and fair working conditions, creating economic opportunities to disadvantaged groups and promoting environmental sustainability through their commitment to using recycled and upcycled materials.
